Students help community with food distribution
To support community members struggling to purchase groceries, the food pantry hosts the drive-through food distribution program, held on the first Thursday of every month. You can find the DV food distribution at the freshman entrance. The most recent event took place on Nov 6. Twilight program helps students recover credits
To help juniors and seniors catch up on credits, Principal Larry de la Cruz added the new Twilight Program, an after-school opportunity where students work on Edgenuity, complete credits, and make up school hours. Tardy sweeps lead to fewer tardies
The administrators no longer announce the tardy sweeps every class period, but the tardy sweeps still happen every day and every class period except for the fourth period.
