The Belles and Cardettes perform their winter show

The Cardinal Belles and Cardettes performed the “Merry and Bright” winter show last Thursday and Friday.

Students, staff, and families came to support the performances at the auditorium. The parents were proudly cheering them on.

“It was kind of tough,” Belle Kendal Henry said. “But it was worth it because the show was pretty good.”

Several special moments were shared between the girls during the performances, and they felt the show was joyful and elated.

“Overall the show was ecstatic and enthusiastic,” Belle Alyssa Reyes said. “ I loved the vibe, the lights, and it was very entertaining for me.”

Cardette Khloe Ruiz says she was anxious at first, but she then felt better after starting.

“You get really nervous before going on,” Ruiz said. “But once you start dancing you just get an adrenaline rush, and it's just so fun.”

One of the dances they performed was the father-daughter dance. The girls agreed that their dads were very nervous at first, but then they overall had a good time.

“It was really fun to see them with their ugly sweaters on,” Henry said. “It was really cute.”

The girls agreed the show went well because of all the positive feedback they received.

“We got a lot of compliments on every performance,” Reyes said. “It was really fun.”
